 Melanie H. Cowling has been a member of the allied health
community for most of her adult life. She
obtained her expanded functions Dental Assistant training in 1981,
then went on to become a Dental hygienist in 1984. Melanie became an electrologist as well as a skin care
specialist in 1996, and then went further with her skin care
education and took the required training to perform permanent
makeup.
In 2000 she passed both the CCE and CME certification exams and
has been working with the Candela GentleLASE for over 1 year. Upon joining the Electrolysis Society of Florida in 1999,
Melanie became very involved and has offered her talents and
expertise to the hair removal profession with passion! She is a dedicated professional who can answer your
questions about hair removal and skin care.
Melanie shares her expertise in two different locations. She performs her laser hair removal treatments with Judy
Adams at the Laser Center of St. Augustine and administers her
electrolysis, skin care, and permanent makeup at her office in the
St. Johns Medical Park. Melanie is also an approved laser
instructor at the Laser Center of St. Augustine. She and Judy
teach the required 30 hour laser hair removal course for licensed
electrologists who wish to use lasers in their practice. Melanie
is truly a professional who can deliver gentle and precise
treatments for her clients.
